The American Natural Miss National Pageant is the pinnacle event of the year!
Contestants just like you from around the United States will come together in a space that is set up to allow them to be their truest, most authentic selves. They will enjoy parties, like the Northen Lights Neon G.L.O.W. party, show off their skills on stage and behind the microphone in optional contests, and compete for the title of American Natural Miss.
While the National Event ends with six new titleholders, every girl is celebrated for her hard work and growth. The week is meant to make sure that every girl feels like she belongs, that her voice matters, and that her light shines!
The National Pageant for 2026 will be held August 4th-7th in Colorado.
Required Competitions
Required competitions are the judged events that contribute to contestant scores and ultimately determine the overall titleholder. These events are judged by a panel of 5 to 6 judges. The judging panel is comprised of businesspeople, pageant queens, entrepreneurs, stay-at-home parents, teachers, and others. The goal of ANM is to compile a diverse judging panel to find the contestant that is the most well-rounded and natural young woman.
The required competitions at ANM are:
Interview, Fun Fashion, Introduction, Formal Wear, Community Service, Directors' Interview, and Character Evaluation

Optional Competitions

ANM Luminary Competition
Optional competitions are the judged events that do not contribute to contestant scores for the overall titleholder, but give the contestant more chances to be on stage and show off their other talents. These events are judged by a panel of 5 to 6 judges that are different from the panel for the overall title. The judging panel is comprised of businesspeople, pageant queens, entrepreneurs, stay-at-home parents, teachers, and others. These competitions are an extra fee over the National Entry Fee and have no bearing on the overall title winner.

ANM Luminary Competition
For another chance at winning a reigning title, with its own awards, contestants can participate in the ANM Luminary Competition. There is an extra fee to participate in this competition. There is a winner in every age division and the winner is selected from the results of the following competitions:
The contestant must compete in at least one of the following Optional Events:
Actress, Spokesmodel, Talent, Runway, Fitness, or Casual Wear
The highest score out of all of these events per age division, plus the highest scoring contestant out of the Overall Competition that did NOT win the Overall Title will be awarded the ANM Luminary Title for their division.
For a reduced National Fee, a contestant can enter Optional Events and the Luminary Competition only. They will compete in the Required Competitions, but will not be eligible to win the Overall Title. This is akin to a Sweetheart or Honor Roll Option. This option is available to those not able to attend ANM Winter Camp.
